He is well-known for making and sharing videos online, has built a large bass community on Instagram, and is the Chief Creative Content Officer of ScottsBassLessons.com.

Originally from Kalispell, Montana, Ian now makes his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has an intense, never-ending love of music, classic basses, and any piece of gear that inspires new ideas. He is a musical ambassador and source of encouragement for all, no matter if you’re a musician or simply a listener.
